Plug in the Device

Use the supplied power supply (240cm/7.9ft long water proof wire included), run a low voltage wire, or use a basic POE power injector to power the PTLevel without the worry of managing batteries.

The provided wire can be extended easily if needed. The main thing is that you have a good WiFi signal at the location of the PTLevel installation.

Connect the WiFi

Next, using the simple WiFi connection setup, get the PTLevel connected to the internet via your WiFi connection.

A step by step guide is provided with the included full color manual. Or use the IOS or Android App to connect to and monitor your PTLevel data.

Install the PTLevel

Lastly, install the PTLevel on the tank and lower the pressure chamber in the liquid.

You can screw down the PTLevel optionally and you’ll simply need to drill a small hole (6mm/1/4in) for the tubing run into the tank. It is ok to install the PTLevel outside but you must make sure it doesn’t get submersed.

How does the PTLevel Wired WiFi work?

  • First the PTLevel is mounted on the top of your tank where it is connected to the provided 13′ of 5/32″ tubing. You can order more tubing if needed.
  • The other end of that small tubing is then connected to the weighted “Pressure Chamber”.
  • After the Pressure Chamber is lowered into your tank, the liquid pushes up into the chamber and creates an air pocket which is then analyzed by the PTLevel every minute.
  • The data is sent to our online services using your WiFi internet connection, where it is further processed into a level reading, alerts, history graphs, and more.
  • After the installation, you can start reviewing your liquid level data right away via the App or at ptdevices.com.
